Pub History

The Galway Bay Irish Pub opened on March 16th 2006. The Owner/Manager Richard McHugh comes originally from Galway, Rep of Ireland (hence the name) and has vast experience in the pub business.  The pub has two floors with the Cellar Bar catering mainly for private parties, sporting nights such as Champions League, Live Premiership, Six Nations Rugby and more, all shown on our Giant Plasma screen with surround sound. The ground floor also has two smaller plasma screens and all live sport is shown.  A good quality service and a good pint is the motto at The Galway Bay (please see our selectin of beers etc in our drinks section).  Our guiness is of particular high quality and comes direct from Dublin.  The atmosphere is enhanced by our high grade "Cabasse Sound System" with a variety of music played incl traditional Irish and ballads, American country, blues/ jazz and old and new pop/rock.
